9MinGames respects intellectual-property rights and reviews properly documented copyright concerns. This policy explains how a copyright owner or an authorized representative can request review of material available through the website.
This is a general copyright and takedown process. It should not be read as a claim that any particular statutory safe-harbor procedure applies in every country.
Before sending a copyright notice
Please confirm that you own the relevant rights or are authorized to act for the owner. Consider whether the use is licensed, authorized, in the public domain, or permitted by an exception such as fair dealing or fair use. Misrepresenting a claim can cause harm and may create legal liability.
If the concern is that a game is broken, misleading, inappropriate, or suspicious rather than infringing copyright, use the Report button on the game’s play page and follow our Report a Game guidance.
Information to include in a takedown request
Email a written notice to contact@9mingames.com with the subject Copyright Takedown Request. Include:
- Your full name and, if applicable, the organization or rights owner you represent.
- A reliable email address and other reasonable contact information.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The exact 9MinGames URL for each game, image, or page in question.
- An explanation of what material is allegedly infringing and why you believe its use is unauthorized.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or applicable law.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Attachments can be useful when they establish ownership or authorization, but do not send unnecessary identity documents or confidential material.
How we review a request
After receiving a sufficiently clear request, we may:
- Acknowledge receipt and ask for missing information.
- Temporarily restrict access while reviewing the claim.
- Compare the reported material with the information supplied.
- Contact a game or content provider for clarification.
- Remove, replace, or disable access to material when appropriate.
- Decline or close a request that is incomplete, unsupported, abusive, or outside our control.
Review time depends on the complexity of the claim. We do not promise immediate removal merely because a notice was submitted.
Sharing notice information
We may share the substance of a notice and the sender’s contact information with the person or provider responsible for the reported material, our legal or technical advisers, service providers helping us investigate, or authorities when required by law. Do not include information that is not necessary for the claim.
Response from an affected provider or rights holder
A person or provider affected by a removal may contact us with an explanation, evidence of authorization, or a request to reconsider. The response should identify the removed material, provide contact information, explain the basis for restoration, and include statements required by applicable law.
We may restore material when the claim is withdrawn, authorization is established, the dispute is resolved, or restoration is otherwise appropriate. We may also keep material unavailable while parties resolve a genuine ownership dispute.
Repeated infringement and abuse
Where appropriate and technically possible, we may restrict providers, pages, or material associated with repeated substantiated infringement. We may also reject or limit notices submitted fraudulently, automatically, abusively, or without a reasonable basis.
Trademark and other rights
For trademark, privacy, impersonation, or other legal concerns, email contact@9mingames.com with a clear description, the relevant URLs, your relationship to the rights involved, and the action requested. Use a subject line that identifies the type of request.
